    Adventure Club Kids Design

A new kids pattern has arrived at Happy Love Co!

I had, and still have, quite a bit of super chunky weight yarn extras lying around! My almost 7 year old wondered if I could make her a quick sweater. And in true Happy Love Co fashion, I said on it! It literally took a couple days from start to finish. If I had a full free day, it would have been just a few hour project! I love that.

She picked the colors, I picked the needle size. The 15mm and 25mm’s. That’s why it’s just a few hour project. If you still don’t own a pair of 25mm’s, you need to get on that. Life changer.

Adventure club because this girl is always out looking for an adventure! She loves living life busy and wearing something cute while doing it all. She’s my girl that will want to play (sometimes not) fight her brothers with an Elsa dress. Full of attitude, love, and adventure.

This quick knit will be your child’s new favorite adventure piece! Make it a fun project and let them pick out all their colors! They’ll remember it for years to come. And with the oversized construction, it’ll probably fit them for years to come! 🙂

  • Happy New Year!

    Happy New Year!

I’m a few days late here, but happy new year everyone! Like often in years past, we ended up with a virus going through our home right after Christmas. Stomach flu this time around! Went through new years, so it wasn’t a big party around here.

Now that everyone is on the mend and I can get my thoughts gathered back around, I have time to share with you a few changes being made with Happy Love Co this year.

First off, I will be working on removing my patterns from Etsy and getting them for sale on my site. Many things have led to this decision and I believe it will work much better for my customers and myself.

Second, I will be discontinuing some of my patterns. I’m going to always have them in my personal files and I will be putting a select few as free patterns here! So if there’s ever one you just really want, let me know and we can work something out.

Third, there’s a good chance I’ll be launching some surprises throughout the year, life circumstances depending! I always have these ideas and I’m going to do this and that, but in reality, I have six kids 😂. Everything is so hit and miss. But I promise, I’m going to try!

I’m terrible with website design and haven’t put much time into this site, but that’s also on the agenda for this week. Make things super easy and super accessible.

Anything else you guys need me to do or want to see, email me, message me on Instagram, whatever! I welcome your input!

Hope you all have a fabulous lovely new year!

    Slope style set design

Happy Thursday! Last week I released this new pattern set. Both a sweater and beanie! Loving it for it’s easy stitches and slouchy cozy feel. Beginners can do this!

You’re going to need the lovely big needles for this one, the 25mm and 15mm. You’ll start with a little bit of my classic twisted ribbing and then switch to the big needles to continue on a stockinette stitch. Even the beanie is knit with the big needles! If you have the time, this can be done very quickly. Need a new sweater and hat for the weekend?! Check.

I love this set for anything winter. It is so warm. I was sweating just doing the photos! I haven’t tested it yet, but I guarantee in mild winter temps, you def won’t need to sport a jacket over it. Wear it over a long sleeve to hit the slopes!
