To knit the onward sweater, you’re going to need 4 skeins of knit collage “spun cloud” yarn or similar super chunky weight yarn. 2 of each color. You’ll also need your size 15mm (US 17) needles and size 25mm (US 50) needles. Basic knitting skills is all that is required of you for the onward sweater.

Introducing the Sweet as Sprinkles sweater design! You’re going to love the ease of wear, ease of knitting, ease of movement. This sweater has a cozy drape made by using size 12mm needles and a basic stitch. The Sweet as Sprinkles sweater will be there for you year round.
I used Sandnes Garn Poppy in the color called tutti frutti. It. is. gorgeous. There are no words for how much I enjoyed knitting with this yarn. And they have many colors of it, so that’s a plus! But I recommend the tutti frutti because it looks like a funfetti cupcake and will make you happy ❤️.
This pattern uses basic knitting skills, nothing complicated. You’ll need to know the longtail cast on method, 1×1 twisted ribbing, stockinette stitch, bind off, picking up stitches, and seaming.
For the sweater itself, you’ll need 6 skeins of sandnes garn yarn and sizes 8mm (US 11) and 12mm (US 17) straight knitting needles.
My favorite season of all time is basically right upon us! Honestly, not many really correlate summer and knitting. Knitting is more cozy, hunkered in, cool weather vibes. I tend to love the summer knitting and knitwear. There’s something so cute about a knit tank or a knit cardigan to wear on those summer mornings and evenings.
