Merry and Bright Cardigan

Super cropped, garter stitch, big sleeves, big needles, big wool, double wrap braided belt. This is the Merry and Bright cardigan design.

We Are Knitters recently launched some new yarn colors for “the wool”. I was pretty excited to snatch up some for my first chunky design of the season. I’m really feeling the red vibes lately and figured that would make a cute piece. Also, a rare moment where I designed a sweater using just one solid color. This does not happen often!

This is a super quick and easy cardigan to knit up. Beginner knitter level. Everyone can knit this one! You guys know I love the big needles to make the softness of these yarns pop. This is the first time I’ve used them for garter stitch and it gave such a fabulous finished piece!
