  • The Freya Summer Sweater Design for Hobbii

I had the privilege of designing a sweater for Hobbii Yarn this spring and the pattern has now been released! It was designed for their Hobbii Plus app and is available in several different languages. If you’re a subscriber of Hobbii Plus, the download is free. If you aren’t, you can still purchase the pattern for $6.00. I also have the pattern available for sale on my website under the shop button above!

I designed this sweater to be a fun and easy knit for summer. It’s got some mesh stitching to let in a bit of breeze and is knit on larger needles for a more lightweight feel. There’s fun openings on the shoulders and little tie strings to add a little more fun to it!

This sweater is meant to be a shorter and loose fit. It’s knit holding two strands of Hobbiis beautiful unicorn yarn together. I used a solid ivory for one strand and the colorway called Happy for the other strand.

This is an easy knit and can be done by most levels of knitters. If you’re very new, you might have to google a few of the techniques, but they’re easy to catch on to. You shouldn’t have any problems!

I hope you enjoy this piece!

  • Sunshine Seeker Sweater

    Sunshine Seeker Sweater

Introducing my latest design, the Sunshine Seeker sweater. Every year at about this time, I go into full on waiting for spring mode. I don’t know what it is about February that says spring is almost here! The days where the sun is streaming in through the back window at 6 pm gives me this warm fuzzy feeling in my soul. Days are getting longer, sun is getting warmer, and spring vibes are in the air.

This sweater is my last chunky wool knit of the season. I added some mesh detail for those days where it’s sort of warm, but not too warm. It’s a perfect balance for the end of winter, heading into spring.

It’s knit up on size 15mm (US 19) straight knitting needles, ensuring a quick and chunky knit. The fun mix of colors and stitches makes for a project that won’t get old or boring! All you need is a few hours of time to knit this piece up. This is an easy level sweater as long as you have the basic knitting skills down.

  • Christmas 🎄 Sweater Vibes

    Christmas 🎄 Sweater Vibes

Christmas is almost here! Just a couple more days! I am so excited. My kids are so excited. It’s just been non stop excitement this week. Every morning the kids have jumped out of bed with the announcement of how many days until Christmas. And I’m feeling relieved that all the gifts are bought, wrapped, and under the tree. Everything’s in order. We just need to find some fun Christmassy things to do for the next couple days until it’s the day. Tomorrow we have cake pop making on the agenda, so there’s that! I told them we’d order pizza for dinner and then go do the towns Christmas lights drive. So it’s looking pretty eventful.

I took a few snaps in one of my Christmas sweaters today! This one is really one of my favs. It was my first time using loopy mango big cotton yarn, and it is amazing. So so soft. The pattern for this and my two other Christmas sweaters are 50% off in my Etsy shop right now, through Christmas Eve, so get them while you can!

This sweater is a fairly easy knit, beginners can do it! And using larger needles, like most of my winter knits, it will work up in a jiffy. Satisfying! Grab yourself a coffee, a treat, and get to it! Always make the whole process fun!

    Have a blessed Christmas!
